Michael teached and performed a few weeks ago at a workshop in Tongerlo for Dansliga. And ofcourse they took pictures from the dancers and the danceteachers..

So a couple of weeks later one of Michael's students suddenly told him  that he was on the cover of a dance magazine called "Swing". 

After sending some mails I recieved the cover of the magazine and they even sended me the magazine. Good memories for later!

Michael gaf een workshop en deed 2 solo's een paar weken geleden op de Dansdag te Tongerlo. Daar namen ze natuurlijk foto's van de talrijke dansers en dansleerkrachten.. 

Een paar weken later komt een van Michael's leerlingen naar hem en zegt dat hij op de cover een magazine staat genoemd "Swing". 

Na het sturen van een paar mailtjes kreeg ik de cover van het magazine doorgestuurd en ook een exemplaar via de post. Leuke herinneringen voor later! 

On November 26, 2011 The Flair Model Awards 2012 took place at Carré.

9 finalists competed for the title of Flair Model 2012.

Michael was just like last year, one of the dancers in this amazing competition / show. 

The winners of the show were Mériem (who won Flair Model 2012), Lucie P (price of public) and Lucie (International jury price).

Op 26 november 2011 vond de Flair Model Awards 2012 plaats in Carré te Willebroek.

De 9 finalisten streden er om de titel van Flair Model 2012.

Michael was net zoals vorig jaar een van de dansers in deze geweldige wedstrijd / show.

De winnaars van de show waren Mériem (won Flair Model 2012), Lucie (Internationale jury prijs) en Lucie P (Publieksprijs). 

Ik wens ze het allerbeste voor de toekomst! 

Top of the 90's in an International event with singers from all over the world who scored hits in the 90's. The first edition took place on november 11th 2011 in Liege. 

Singers as Haddaway, MO-DO, East 17, Paradisio, Culture BeatRozalla, ICE MC Feat D.JAZZIE, Jessy etc where performing at the Country Hall. 

Michael was one of the dancers that performed with these amazing singers. Next stop will be March 24th 2012 at Charleroi.

Top of the 90's is een Internationaal evenement met zangers van over de hele wereld die in de jaren 90 hits scoorden. De eerste editie vond plaats op 11 november 2011 te Luik. 

Zangers als Haddaway, MO-DO, East 17, Paradisio, Culture BeatRozalla, ICE MC Feat D.JAZZIE, Jessy etc kwamen hun beste nummers nog eens brengen in de Country Hall. 

Michael was een van de dansers die mocht meedansen bij deze fantastische zangers. Volgende editie zal plaatsvinden op 24 maart 2012 in Charleroi. 

On November 11th, Michael was invited to give a workshop at Tongerlo. Organized by Dansliga it was an absolute succes. 

Hundreds of dancers tried te different styles and Michael was in charge of Lyrical Jazz and a group of 265 dancers! An amazing expirience. 

After the workshop there was a Dansdag Show for all the participants. Michael danced two solo's.

Op 11 november werd Michael uitgenodigd om een workshop te komen geven op de groots georganiseerde Dansdag te Tongerlo.  Honderden dansers kwamen opdagen en deden mee aan de  verschillende dansstijlen die werden aangeboden. 

Dansliga vroeg Michael om Lyrical Jazz te geven aan 265 dansers in één uurtje. Een hele opgave maar zeker een uitdaging. 

Na de workshop was er een Dansdag Show georganiseerd waar Michael twee solo's danste. 

On November 6th 2011, Michael will be teaching at the bijscholingsdag in Bree. 

He will be teaching Modern and Lyrical Jazz during two times one hour and fifteen minutes.

Op 6 november 2011 zal Michael een workshop geven op de bijscholingsdag te Bree.

Hij zal er de Moderne dans en Lyrical Jazz voor zijn rekening houden gedurende een uur en vijftien minuten.

On November 11th, the 9th DanceDay will be a fact! Organized by the DansLiga in Tongerlo. 

There will be a lot of workshops from dancers and choreographers. 

Also Special Guests were invited from So You Think You Can Dance & The Ultimate Dance Battle such as Hettie, Stefano, Junes and myself.

Op 11 november 2011 zal de 9e Dansdag plaatsvinden in Tongerlo georganiseerd door de DansLiga. 

Er vinden die dag workshops plaats van verschillende dansers en choreografen. 

Special guests werden ook uitgenodigd waaronder een aantal van So You Think You Can Dance en The Ultimate Dance Battle. 

Hettie, Stefano, Junes en ikzelf zullen er onze passie doorgeven aan de gemotiveerde dansers.

From september 5th 2011, Michael will be teaching at DASA Danceschool in Asse near Brussels.  

After teaching there a workshop a few months ago he was asked to teach permanently at the school starting september 2011.

Michael will be teaching Classical ballet & Lyrical jazz.

Vanaf 5 september 2011, zal Michael dansles geven bij DASA Dansschool in Asse bij Brussel.

Nadat hij een paar maanden geleden er een workshop gaf werd hij nu gevraagd om er permanent les te komen geven.

Michael zal er Klassiek ballet & Lyrical Jazz geven.

Op 24 september 2011 zal Michael een workshop geven in Mechelen bij Dansparant. De dansschool ligt vlakbij het treinstation dus geen excuses om niet aanwezig te zijn :-). 

Vorig jaar heeft hij er al eens een stage gegeven en ook dit jaar zal dat het geval zijn.

From August 19 to September 3rd, Michael will be dancing in the musical My Fair Lady on the beautiful lake in Overmere. 

Deborah De Ridder will be playing the lead of Eliza Doolittle and Frans Maas the part of Henry Higgins. The show is directed by Frank Van Laecke and choreografed by Ingrid Coppieters.

Van 19 augustus tot 3 september zal Michael te zien zijn als danser in de musical My Fair Lady op het Donkmeer. 

Deborah De Ridder speelt de rol van Eliza Doolittle en Frans Maas die van Henry Higgins. De show is geregisseerd door Frank Van Laecke en gechoreografeerd door Ingrid Coppieters.

From August 1 till 5, Ballerino in Lembeek is holding a Summer course for children from 4 to 15 years old. 

There will be alot of different styles like Classical ballet, ragga, hip hop etc, and also Michael will be teaching Lyrical Jazz . More info at Magali@ballerino.be

Van 1 tot 5 augustus organiseert Ballerino in Lembeek een heuse Zomerstage voor kinderen van 4 tot 15 jaar. 

Ook Michael zal er lyrical jazz geven tussen andere stijlen als klassiek ballet, ragga, hip hop etc..
